She obtained the title of MSc. at the Wrocław University of Technology and obtained a Ph.D. in biotechnology at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Wrocław.
Her doctoral dissertation concerned the synthesis and functionalization of superparamagnetic nanoparticles for applications in the treatment of cancer. Due to the subject, during Ph.D. studies, she became acquainted with various techniques and modern methods of treatment and diagnosis of cancer. She participated in the implementation of the scientific grant awarded by the Wrocław Research Center EIT + “Biomed – Biotechnologies, and Modern Medical Technologies” – preparation and characterization of bionanomaterials for specific medical applications.
During her doctoral studies, she began to work on the commercialization of research results. In 2011, she began working with the Wrocław Research Center EIT + as a Technology Broker. She was responsible for analyzing the patentability of inventions in the fields of biotechnology, medicine, diagnostics, and nanotechnology. In 2011, she completed post-graduate studies in Industrial Pharmacy at the Jagiellonian University. The study program included elements related to pharmaceutical law, including the principles of registering medicines and medicinal products. In 2014 she completed post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, “Intellectual Property Law.”
In the years 2013-2017 she worked at the Wrocław Research Center EIT +, where she was, among others, the manager of the BioPatent project – “International protection of inventions in the field of biotechnology, supporting the increase of competitiveness of Polish enterprises,” as well as managed the Sales and IP Protection Department. During her career, she was in constant contact with scientists from various fields, especially from the medical industry, thanks to which she knows the market and new solutions in the field of cancer diagnostics very well. He currently manages projects at SensDx.
